Ptosis Surgery By Dr. Chandler

Ptosis Surgery Eyelift – 68 year-old man with Ptosis (eyelid muscle weakness) and extreme asymmetry of the right eyebrow (left side of photo). His brows are imbalanced as he tries to compensate for eyelid muscle weakness caused by natural aging. He underwent in-office Ptosis eyelid lift repair and cosmetic Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty. His after photo is shown 6 months after surgery.

After his procedure he has a remarkable improvement in the openness of his eyes, and this truly helps to restore balance and symmetry to his face. Only a very meticulous analysis and precise surgery can deliver this kind of result, something Dr. Chandler has spent his career as a plastic surgeon mastering. Dr. Chandler would recommend that he undergo lower eyelid blepharoplasty (eye bag removal) in the future for the best cosmetic appearance. Sometimes upper and lower eyelid surgery can be performed concurrently, but if the ptosis is involved (especially in a case such as this one), it is frequently best to have 2 separate procedures.
