What is Oculofacial Plastic Surgery?

Oculofacial Plastic Surgery is a subspecialty of Facial Plastic Surgery that focuses on cosmetic procedures of the eyelids and face.

Also referred to as Cosmetic Oculoplastic Surgeon, this delicate and precise surgical field requires extensive subspecialty training and years of study well beyond medical school. One aspect of this field is that it allows the surgeon special training and comfort with working in and around two of the most delicate and vital structures of the human body — the eyes! For procedures on the face and especially around the eyes many patients have understandable trepidation that only an experienced and precise surgeon work on their face — and Dr. Chandler has spent 15 years in school to become such an expert.

Procedures that Dr. Chandler specializes in include lower eyelid bag surgery, Blepharoplasty, Ptosis, Upper Eye Lifts, Face Mole Removal, Botox,  Fillers, Juvederm, Restylane, and Voluma. Dr. Chandler believes that it is crucial for any patient choosing one of these procedures that he/she select a board-certified MD with facial surgery expertise.
